Xmas crafts

"Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love!"

Christmas is just round the corner. Our students are preparing their carols and we are all engaged in recordings and getting into the spirit. Here are some easy crafts to be used in class. Children will feel proud to take part in these crafts and afterwards take them home and share them with their families.

1. Jar lids

All you need is to reuse some jar lids and some colorful paper to glue inside and outside. Then, nice messages can be written inside.

2. Xmas card, hand-print

This easy hand-print card can be done with the youngest students. It might take some time to dry, but as soon as it is done, they can take it home and hang it in the Christmas tree.

3. Xmas ball card

This is a hand-made card using fabric tape. First glue it on a circle, then glue it again on the card. You'll need glue, scissors and fabric decoration tape.

4. Xmas tree card

For this card the same type of fabric tape has been used. It is really easy to cut and glue and it's very colorful. The final result is pretty nice and it doesn't need too much preparation. It can be done with bigger groups as well.

5. Xmas tree card  2

This is a similar tree card, but instead of fabric tape, we have used a self-stick tape. It's even easier to be used as you don't need any glue. Just cardboard, tape and a pen!

Hope these examples will motivate you to create your own cards. I'm sure family and friends will greatly appreciate them!

Have a lovely day!

Alexandra
